You  see in this story that big money can’t do good things for the community. Big money only do more money for the rich.

Sarteneja; tradition is alive !

This trailer was realized in few hours (thanks to my friend’s imac). Rush from little cheap photo camera:
- Dolphins from West Atlantic on a calm day taken from the Scarf (French wooden Armagnac).
- Belize water from Suheidy fishing boat from Sarteneja goinf to Belize city.
- Sarteneja Easter time Maria is taken out the water by hand.
- Boats are being repaired on the public sea front, carpenters and crews are working.
-Sailing cayuco.
- Easter Regatta 2009, 24 feet category on the final tack. Tradition of the village. The community is taking care of it. We are working to keep it alive.
- Ardeny, winner of the 2009 edition. This boat sunk 6 months later after a big explosion in Belize river because of a butane tank. Nobody was injured badly.
- Sarteneja harbor. Boats have no engine of course for the regatta. No water and thanks no marina.
- After this great day it’s time to put special regatta sails away and put back the working sails.
- Leolily sailing tour with friends, present for a birthday.
- Dolphins are masters of the sea.

Scarf was a french sail boat (Armagnac designed by P. Harlé) built in 1968 – Shipwreck in Florida in 2007.
