Wilson, who passed away in Kansas City, on Tuesday night, were held at the Oquawka United Methodist Church on Friday afternoon, with the Rev. Noy M. Doll, pastor of church, officiating Mrs. Martin played a selection of organ music. Pallbearers were Wendell E.

Slover, Gillette B. Dixon, Kenneth E. Smith, Harry Parsons and Steve Ohler, all of Oquawka, and Den A. Brooking of Rock Island. Burial was made in the Oquawka ceme tery.

and Mrs. Richard Miller of Chicago, the ladies being daughters of Wilson, arrived here on Thursday afternoon, and spent some Celebrates Birthday Juli Marie Cargill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Junior Cargill of Stronghurst, celebrated her first birthday March 31, 1970. Maternal grandparents are Mr.

and Mrs. Charles H. Morris of Gladstone: Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cargill of Stronghurst.

Paternal Great Grandmothers are Mrs. Gladys Brouse of Media and Mrs. Rachel Gray of Stronghurst. LOMAX Mrs. Frances Kline and children returned home after spending the past week with the husband and father at De Witt, where he is employed, at this time.

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Worrell and Alicia and Mrs. Kerfeet of Burnside were Sunday afternoon visitors in the home of Mr. and Mrs.

Guy Shanks. Mrs. Eldon Roberts of Ft Madison, was a Saturday afternoon visitor in the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Shanks.

Marshall McKeown Marshall S. McKeown, 85, of 548 S. Tenth, died Thursday, Mar. 26, at 4:30 p.m. in his home.

He was born June 11, 1884, in Henderson county, the son of Robert and Anna McCartney McKeown. Oct. 8, 1913, he married Maggie Weller in Biggsville, Ill. Mr. McKeown was employed by the Burlington railroad for 30 years, a member of Railway Veterans and South Henderson county Presbyterian church.

Surviving: The wife; a daughter, Norma June Kemp, Lomax, two sisters, Mrs. Anna Pendarvis, Oak Park, and Mrs. Rena Hedges, Galva, four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Funeral services were Monday at 11 a.m. in Giles chapel at Burlington in charge of Rev.

Jerry Richards. Burial was in the Stronghurst cemetery. BIRTHS A girl was born Monday, March 30 at Burlington Memorial Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Terry G.

SUSIE GULLBERG Mrs. Karl Gullberg, aged 67, of rural- Kirkwood, died this to morning at 1 2:45 o'clock at the Community Memorial Brown Hospital. of The former Susie was born Aug. 17, 1902, in Kewanee, daughter of James and the Susie (Burrell) Brown, and her early life in the Stronghurst community. Her spent marriage to Karl Gullberg March took 5, place and the couple farmed in in Galesburg 1923, Kirkwood community 44 years.
