OAK CREEK– Prep Redzone Showcase season is a go in the Midwest, and it started for me heading back to my home state of Wisconsin to find the Badger State’s best of the best talent. Was there plenty of talent in Oak Creek on Sunday? There sure was in both sessions, as we saw a huge plethora of talent at the Milwaukee Yard showing out to the college coaches and our Prep Redzone scouts.
We each broke down by position groups in both sessions, however I wanted to start off by featuring some of best talent I got to watch outside of my position groups from yesterday. This 2027 class in Wisconsin was loaded yesterday, as well as the 2025 class which is also heavily featured. We even have a prospect on our list that is not on social media yet, but certainly caught some eye-popping attention of our Prep Redzone scouts and the college coaches in attendance. Who are the names that popped out in my notebook? Meet my bests from the Prep Redzone Wisconsin Showcase yesterday.

CLASS 2027
Jack Boerst Jack Boerst 5'10" | 160 lbs | RB Arrowhead | 2027 State WI
School: Hartland Arrowhead
Almost never in my years of covering our Midwest Prep Redzone Showcases has a freshmen been the first prospect to catch my eyes, however that certainly was the case with 2027 running back Jack Boerst Jack Boerst 5’10” | 160 lbs | RB Arrowhead | 2027 State WI of Hartland Arrowhead on Sunday. This young man showed tons of explosive skillsets from what I watched on Sunday especially watching his broad jump with the fluidity he brought to the table at 5’9 155 pounds. Jack showed off some intriguing agility for his age and with that agility and vision he showed off his instincts later in Indy drills and 1v1s. He certainly is a 2027 to know early in this freshman class out of Arrowhead.
Logan Schettle
HEIGHT 6'1"
WEIGHT 195
POS ATH
CLASS 2025
State: Wisconsin
School: Oshkosh North
In my first look at evaluating Logan I was highly impressed with his change of direction during the pro agility testing, as at 6’0 198 pounds he logged an impressive time. Watching him further during our Prep Redzone Wisconsin Showcase, he showed off plenty of instinctive athletic movement and a catchy first step that should attract college coaches interest as we head into spring and summer. I was also intrigued with his football IQ in Oak Creek. I got the chance to watch him on tape, and found this young man is the definition of a swiss-army knife on all three levels of the field for Oshkosh North which certainly provides plenty of position flexibility for coaches at the next-level. Logan is certainly a prospect you will see playing on Saturdays in my eyes.
Kaben Ziegler
HEIGHT 6'3"
POS OL
CLASS 2027
Kaben Ziegler
School: Whitefish Bay
Whitefish Bay was a school that had some intriguing prospects at our Prep Redzone Wisconsin Showcase, and one that popped out to me early was 2027 offensive linemen Kaben Ziegler. At 6’3 225 pounds, I liked the dexterity Kaben brought to the table in our early drills of our showcase, as he showed flexible hips for a younger prospect still growing into his frame. He also showed off plenty of his future potential with his hand placement in the later drills and more versatility than you would expect out of a freshmen with plenty of development left in his tank. He also shows off on tape, soft hands that wins plenty of 1v1s as I like the upside of his latching ability as a OL prospect I expect to grow vastly throughout his high school career.
Korz Loken Korz Loken 6'5" | 200 lbs | ATH Iola- Scandinavia | 2027 State WI
HEIGHT 6'4"
POS TE
CLASS 2027
Korz Loken Korz Loken 6'5" | 200 lbs | ATH Iola- Scandinavia | 2027 State WI
School: Iola-Scandinavia
Korz was a tight end prospect I found his tape a couple months ago, and was highly intrigued then and yesterday too as the 6’4 205 pounder from Iola-Scandinavia certainly showed off the very promising upside he has brewing in his football future. The explosion certainly showed off in the early-testing session within his lower body, as in the broad jump he logged an impressive 9’4 and without having the testing numbers yet would assume he was one of the top in that category in the 2027 class. He showed off some deer-like athletic movement when I got a glimpse of him in 1v1s with his route-running and his instincts are only going to grow swifter with three more years of high school football left in his arsenal. Korz also was in the running amongst our “best of the best” Tight Ends at the end of the second session yesterday. It might be early, but it looks like the Thunderbirds have another D1 target on their hands.
Xzavier Grabher
HEIGHT 6'4"
WEIGHT 280
POS OL
CLASS 2025
State: Wisconsin
School: Racine St. Catherine’s
Xzavier I thought was one of the most gritty offensive linemen we had at our Prep Redzone Wisconsin Showcase yesterday. The 6’4 255 pounder from Racine St Catherine’s showed off excellent hand speed and added plenty of sound aggression in them too in which he utilized his long reach to win a handful of reps in our 1v1 sessions and showed off his excellent leverage a ton. Xzavier was also in our “Best of the Best” competition at the end of session one, as I was also intrigued with his balance with his footwork with his measurables. Xzavier also impressed me with his work ethic and leadership yesterday in Oak Creek amongst the OL group, as this OT prospect with a 4.0 GPA certainly has a high football IQ I would be wanting if I were a college recruiter at the next-level. No question a Division I fit in my eyes in Wisconsin’s 2025 class that should have a big summer on the college camp circuit.
Highlights
Tosin Kolawole
HEIGHT 6'2"
POS RB
CLASS 2026
Tosin Kolawole
School: Whitefish Bay
Not too many times do you see a 6’2 195 pound sophom*ore running back put up eye-popping numbers that college coaches should pay attention to ASAP like Whitefish Bay’s Tosin Kolawale put up in Oak Creek yesterday. The testing station I stood next to was the pro-agility in which Tosin unleashed a 4.31 pro agility and was just as explosive on the broad jump per our Wisconsin scout Mark Johnson. The length of Tosin’s lower body certainly pops out as he showed off with his route-running yesterday that the length of his twitch is going to be a problem for defensive backs with the length of separation he showed off with his long-strides. He has some raw tape from his sophom*ore year but man can this kid stretch the field with his sound athleticism on either side of the ball, as I would expect this young man’s upside to grow substantially over the next 12 months, as a prospect that might I add, is not quite on Twitter as of yet.
Ben Lemirand
HEIGHT 6'0"
WEIGHT 170
POS WR
CLASS 2025
State: Wisconsin
School: West De Pere
Although I was mostly locked into the defensive backs yesterday, Ben Lemirand Ben Lemirand 6’0″ | 170 lbs | WR West De Pere | 2025 State WI of West De Pere was a 2025 wide receiver that caught my eyes throughout the second session of the Prep Redzone Wisconsin Showcase. I loved the pure fluidity and excellent finished burst this young man ran with from the testing session to 1v1s later in the session. His significant twitch certainly sets a sizable tone to get ample separation off the top of his routes. Ben also showed off an athletic vertical I witnessed from my first look at him yesterday, as this young man gets in the air with some pure athleticism. I also see excellent balance and quick instincts with his ball awareness along the edges of the field when I rolled his tape tonight which also shows a significant football IQ. I will be intrigued to see where Ben ends up with his testing numbers from yesterday in Oak Creek, as he has a plethora of FCS attention already in the 2025 class.
Highlights
Vincent Churchwell
HEIGHT 6'2"
WEIGHT 180
POS WR
CLASS 2025
State: Wisconsin
School: Milton
Vincent was a wide receiver prospect that impressed with our first look with the dexterity he showed off in the early drills from the Prep Redzone Wisconsin Showcase. The 6’2 180 pound 2025 prospect out of Milton, showed off some smooth hands along with his route-running in Indy Drills, which showed off the instincts which is one of the best skillsets I saw out of Vincent in Oak Creek in my eyes. He also popped out with his quick first step at the start of his route which if you roll the tape, you can track the quick-tuned downhill burst he starts his routes with to gain separation. He certainly shows off a 2025 wide receiver prospect that has a technical knack of tracking the ball quickly on deeper routes and looks to me like a prospect with the upside to play on Saturdays.
